Does Love Inspiration offer Karuna Reiki®?
Karuna Reiki® is an energy based healing system that was introduced to the world by The International Centre For Reiki Training.
The word 'karuna' can be translated to mean 'compassionate action' and traditionally, Karuna Reiki is offered to those who have completed their Usui Reiki Master training (Level 3a). Unfortunately, Love Inspiration does not offer Karuna Reiki as part of its online offerings and with this FAQ, we will now outline some of the reasons why we are not able to offer Karuna Reiki through Love Inspiration.
To start with then, Marty learnt the full Karuna Reiki® healing system, in person, with an International Centre For Reiki Training instructor (Laurelle Shanti Gaia). Marty learnt all of the Karuna Reiki® levels (the two Practitioner Levels and the two Master Levels) over one intensive weekend in Sedona, Arizona in 2013.
As part of the Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher training, it was highlighted that The International Centre For Reiki Training wanted to preserve the energetic integrity of Karuna Reiki and because of this, they had set up the Karuna Reiki healing system as a registered trademark and with a number of regulations. The regulations in place encourage Karuna Reiki® Master teachers to honour & preserve the teaching style and healing practices within the Karuna Reiki healing system.
As an example of these regulations, someone who trains directly under The International Centre For Reiki Training is able to issue official certificates to their students, however, if their students wanted to teach Karuna Reiki®, they would not be able to issue official certificates (unless their teacher chose to become a qualified International Centre For Reiki Training teacher and register themselves officially with The International Centre For Reiki Training). An additional regulation of the Karuna Reiki healing system is that:
Karuna Reiki is only to be attuned / taught in person.
With these regulations in place, Marty and Gerry have therefore been unable to add the Karuna Reiki energies to the Love Inspiration online offerings. However, after receiving the Karuna Reiki levels, Marty attuned Gerry to all levels of Karuna Reiki, which made Gerry a Karuna Reiki Master (without a certificate). As Gerry was receiving the Karuna Reiki energies, Quan Yin appeared to her and started to bring through some new energies & teachings, which were lovingly called The Eye Of Compassion (Master Level Symbols).
It was explained that The Eye Of Compassion energies were suitable only for those who had completed their Karuna Reiki® training and that these new energies would help to open the recipient up to higher & higher levels of compassion. Love Inspiration was divinely guided to share these Eye Of Compassion teachings on their website and were asked to include the prerequisite of the the Karuna Reiki Master Level.
At the time, Marty & Gerry asked about whether it was ok to include a teaching on the website which had a prerequisite of Karuna Reiki (given that Love Inspiration would not be able to offer this course). Higher Consciousness explained that everything would align for the highest possible good of all. If someone was needing to receive The Eye Of Compassion energies, they would already be a Karuna Reiki Master and they would be guided to our website to receive these energies. Simple!
