May all beings be infinitely happy and free from suffering.
Why Affirmations
For anyone interested in meditation, spirituality or energy based healing, affirmations can be a very useful tool. For example, for those who may be starting out on their Reiki journey, affirmations like "I open up to receiving light" or "I open up with love" can often help the recipient to enjoy a smooth & relaxing Reiki experience, as they open up to a new depth of love & light in their life.
From a meditative perspective, when we work with affirmations, we are basically employing a technique that helps us to set our intention more clearly whilst at the same time helping us to stay focused. In this way, affirmations can be especially helpful to those who who may feel that they have a busy or overly active mind, as they go about their daily healing or meditation practices. In addition to these meditative benefits, affirmations can also be used throughout our day to day life, as a way of helping us cultivate beneficial mindsets. There are countless affirmations that we can choose from and therefore, there are countless ways that we can benefit from affirmations in this way. But one of the most common problems that arise when we are working with affirmations is that our mind can very easily become distracted. And this is where the concept of rhythmic affirmations can be of assistance, as it can remind us of our affirmations focus. Here on this page, we will be sharing everything you need to know about how to do rhythmic affirmations so that you can can add this wonderfully uplifting technique to your healing & meditation toolkit. |

As we mentioned in the introduction above, affirmations can be a wonderful technique that can help you to cultivate beneficial mindsets whilst also helping you to remain focused on a particular intention (whether that be done in meditation or as you go about your daily life). But one of the main problems that people have when working with affirmations is that the mind becomes very easily distracted, which is where the idea of using rhythm can be especially helpful.

So far, we have introduced you to the idea of how to use rhythm to more easily work with affirmations, mantras & healing symbols. And whilst each of these individual techniques are very helpful, we can often get much better results by combining them together. For example, if you start to combine these practices, you may find that you are able to 'meditate' more easily and for longer periods of time (with very little effort). Furthermore, when you start combining these rhythm techniques, you may notice that you now have a very simple format for a) calling on many beautiful Higher Consciousness healing energies whilst b) using affirmations as a way of guiding those healing energies to where they are needed most, which is wonderful. Ok, so how do we actually start combining these techniques in a simple, easy & divinely uplifting way?

Have you ever had a song that's been stuck in your head for sometimes days at a time? Well, we can use this to our advantage when working with affirmations. We often find that this technique is especially useful for 'going about your day' and when working with this technique, there are a few ways that we can go about it. For example, you might like to create melodies of our own and then match them to a particular affirmation. Or, you might like to choose a song that you love (an instrumental song is probably more easy to start off with) and then sing along a chosen affirmation to that melody. Both techniques can work equally well - it really just depends on what your personal preferences are for determining what technique will work best for you.
For example, if you are someone who likes singing away in the shower, perhaps creating your own little melodies as you hum away, then this might be a wonderful opportunity for you to sing an uplifting affirmation, with your own little melody, so that you can feel the joy of singing whilst creating & cultivating beneficial mindsets for more peace, joy & expansion. Perhaps you want to sing "I open & radiate love, for the benefit of all" or "I am a beacon of light and I radiate for all" or "I open up to the blessings of love and share it with all". Whatever affirmation you choose to work with is fine - just make sure that it is something that makes your heart sing! |
