A Strong Love For
Delicious Food!

Whilst we will all have our own unique food preferences, one thing is for certain: we all love eating delicious and tasty food! And with so much abundance in the world, we are now so lucky to have so many different options, tastes, smells and varieties to choose from!

And for those of you who are moving through any of our energy based healing systems, one of the things that you may find as you love vibration raises, is that you start being drawn to different kinds of foods and nourishment. For example, we now feel the cravings more and more for wholesome and 'real' food rather than processed food. We are also no longer drawn to the taste or feeling of eating meat in our diet and we are no longer feeling so drawn towards dairy.

But one thing is for sure - we absolutely LOVE food! We love delicious food, we love easy to prepare food (which is still delicious), we love raw food, we love blending food, we love wild foods and all sorts of foods in-between! We have been guided towards taking only "pure nourishment" and with this page, we aim to explain this concept in more detail in the hope of inspiring you towards a more wholesome, pure and happy life!

What Is Pure Nourishment?

Let Thy Food Be Thy Medicine

The idea of nourishment having a positive impact on our health and wellbeing is not a difficult concept for us to grasp and is certainly by no means a new one for this world. We can see many examples from ancient times where natural foods & plants were used to help create states of health and wellbeing. This just seems to make sense and is often referred to as 'preventative medicine'.

And still today, many of these practices still exist through the likes of herbalists, naturopaths and many others who are educating us about different types of foods, remedies and other great natural healing products that are a starting to become proven ways of treating many kinds of common (and more severe) ailments. In addition to this there are also lots of amazing people in the food industry who are doing some really amazing things - helping us to be bought back to the idea of eating natural, wholesome,  organic and healthy food. One of our favourite quotes which summarises all of this really well comes from the ancient philosopher Hippocrates who said:

"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"

A good starting point here is to become more aware of how you are sourcing our food as we begin to truly understand what actually goes into the food you are eating. Do you know how many pesticides, chemicals and other preservatives have been put into your food? Are you eating 'real' food or are you eating lots of packaged food which has a lot of numbers on the ingredients label? Do you know what those numbers actually mean? And do you understand the potential consequences of ingesting these substances and how this may affect your health?

Showing Loving Kindness
In Our Eating Habits

Having been on our healing pathway for many years now, we always try to be as harmonious and as loving as we can to the surrounding environment around us. And this same philosophy is applied to all of our eating habits in that we always try to be loving and kind.

So for us, the issue of killing animals was deemed to be not a very loving or kind action so we decided to give up our attachment to meat and move forwards towards more love & light. Secondly, as we progressed on our healing pathway further and moved to higher states of love & awareness, we started to forego many other kinds of animal products as we felt that this was also not a very loving and kind to be.
At the time, our beliefs were re-enforced whenever we saw a video of a chicken being plucked for feathers whilst still alive or perhaps a calf being weened from its mother at such an early age so that we could drink the milk instead. Again, we wish to act in a way that is loving and harmonious with all living beings and for us, we didn't feel that this was very loving and kind.

So effectively, our loving and kind philosophy has brought together into a food philosophy of veganism, gluten free eating (to help create bio-diversity on our earth) and eating organically wherever we can (because it is very scary what actually goes into non-organic food). It has not been an easy road and there has been many hours of researching, learning & trialling but we are happy with our decisions because we understand now that we are no longer creating any more obstacles for ourselves (in the form of negative karma) and that we are eating more healthy, digestible and wholesome food in our life.

Expressing Yourself
Creatively Through Food
(Optional)

As we've mentioned in our introduction - we love food! We love eating delicious, healthy, inspiring and wonderfully colourful types of food from all kinds of different cultures and traditions. We are always looking for new ways to bring different foods together, to create something which really makes our stomach sing for more whilst looking wonderfully inspiring to eat.

And for us, we find that this is also a great way of creative expression, fun, and something which we do not take too seriously. To enjoy our time in the kitchen and to enjoy putting together our little master pieces (and our fair share of flops) is something which we find healing, creative and in a way, meditative. The food ends up tasting better, we end up feeling better and the best part is, this is something that we can all get involved in!

How Energy Based
Healing Practices Can Help

As we ourselves were moving the various energy based healing systems found here on our website, we were feeling the impact and the benefits as our love vibration was being raised. And this applied to all aspects of our life and also included our food. As we've mentioned here, our divinely guided journey took us towards veganism however no doubt you will have your own divinely unique journey!

The key point to note here is that there is a very significant inter-relationship between the healing work that you are doing and the types of food you are eating. For those of you who are at a more advanced level of healing, you will probably see this movement to natural and sustainable food being brought into your life more and more now as your vibration rises further still towards love & light. This is a very natural, organic and wonderful gift that is being brought into your life. And there are so many amazing possibilities that you can now explore with your food options - they may also be some learning ahead of you but that's where all the fun lies!

Expanding on the
Pure Nourishment Concept

As we continue to expand on our journey forwards into the light, we can more deeply understand that pure nourishment doesn't just relate to our food and drink choices but it can also be applied to how we nourish our body, mind and soul in other ways. For example, we may choose to 'nourish' our body through a range of natural body wash or hygiene products or alternatively, we may wish to bring some exercise, yoga or pranayama into our life to help nourish our body in a more holistic way. From a mind / soul perspective, we may choose to introduce some daily meditation or prayer or choose from any number of spiritual healing, religious or Higher Consciousness based practices. All of these will be great ways to bring more mind / soul nourishment into our life for our journey forwards.
