How do I place/tap/send a symbol into a chakra for x number of minutes?
When learning the Love inspiration healing courses, you will often be asked to place/send or tap a symbol into a chakra for a set amount of time. For example, you might be asked to "place the symbol into your Heart Chakra for 8 minutes". In some cases, there may be some genuine confusion about how to actually do this and so here in this FAQ we will be sharing some helpful information to clarify this. Please note that the below information explains how a person can place a symbol into their own chakra (for a specific period of time) however this information can be equally applied to sending symbols to others.
To start with, let us just say that how you wish to approach this kind of practice is flexible and will often depend on the personal preferences & experiences of the individual practitioner, however there are two main, general ways to undertake the practice:
Repeatedly Tapping In The Symbol
There may be some people (i.e. those who have a fast or active mind) who might like to repeatedly tap the symbol into their chakra during this 8 minutes. In this way, they are continuing to place the symbol into their chakra for the entire duration of specified time. As they are tapping the symbol in, they might also like to continually repeat the symbol’s sacred name in their mind. In this way, they may feel that this style of practice helps them to stay focused on the symbol and the new energies being received.
Tapping In Three Times & Allowing The Energies To Flow
Alternatively, there may be other practitioners who would prefer a different approach. They might like to draw out the symbol and tap it into their chakra three times to start their practice. Then, they may wish to simply focus on opening up and receiving the new energies that the symbol is flowing into/through them for the duration of their practice (in a way that feels right for them). For example, they may imagine or visualise that a big symbol is hovering in front of them and they may just feel that they are drawing in the energies from this big symbol.
So these two approaches are both valid ways for how we can "place the symbol into our Heart Chakra for 8 minutes". Most importantly, the exact, specified timeframe that is shared within the ebooks for each symbol is specifically tailored for opening up and receiving that symbol's new energies. But of course, there are a great many ways that one can 'open up and receive these new energies’ or ‘place these energies into their chakra’.
Above all, it is always our intention that is so important here so rather than getting too caught up in the actual details about which technique is better than another, it is best to focus on the intentional aspects of these practices. Just as long as you are drawing/visualising the symbol and placing it into the chakra a minimum of three times at the start of your practice and then you are devoting the rest of the specified time to open up and receive these new energies, you will be just fine. Here, you can see that your intention is being set to place the symbol into your chakra and then you are intending to receive these energies into this area of your body for the remainder of the time.
So again, how a person wishes to open up and receive these new energies will often depend on their own personal preferences & experiences and as we’ve just mentioned, there can be many ways that one can approach this kind of practice. For example:
You can repeatedly tap in the symbol or you can imagine a big symbol in front of you to receive these energies (as described above).
You can draw out the symbol, tap it in three times and then just continue to say an affirmation like "I open up and receive the energies of xxx symbol".
Or you could draw out the symbol, tap it into your chakra three times and then just focus on visualising or imagining that you are receiving white or golden light from above.
Alternatively, you might like to combine some of the above approaches. For example:
You might like to start your practice by continuing to tap in the symbol into your chakra whilst saying the sacred name repeatedly. Then, after a few minutes, you might like to just focus on the feelings aspects as you connect and feel the energies of the symbol resonating and vibrating within. After a few more minutes, you might like to now tap the symbol into your chakra a few more times and then again, take a few minutes to just feel and connect with the energies. And so the process continues, as you call on whatever techniques feel right for you in that particular moment.
And of course, there are a great many ways that you can 'open up and receive these new energies’ or ‘place these energies into a chakra - and as you progress on your pathway, and become more experienced in using symbols, you may feel at different times that ‘tapping’ is not specifically necessary. For example, you may find that visualising, intending, projecting or intuitively guiding the symbol into the chakra may feel more appropriate in the moment. For example:
Visualise the symbol in front of you, say at arm’s length, and repeatedly guide it, or bring it into the chakra.
Visualise the symbol in front of you and then duplicate it over and over, until there is a long ‘line’ of symbols queuing up in front of you. Then ‘rapid fire’ the symbols into the chakra.
Visualise a life-size symbol in front of you and either step into it, or allow it to merge with your whole body. (Note that this may not work with all symbols as some may only go into a specific chakra)
Visualise the symbol in front of you, and then it having hundreds of ‘baby’ symbols which are then pulled into the chakra, flooding the chakra with hundreds or thousands of tiny ‘dancing’ symbols.
Let the symbol show you what to do: Each symbol has its very own energy and very specific purpose, so sometimes even just visualising the symbol and sitting with it, it will then show you what to do. (This is how Gerry sometimes received the information on what to do with some of the symbols when ‘downloading’ the ebooks.) For example, you may find that the symbol starts spinning and radiating energy to you, or that it may just float automatically into one or more chakra, going where it is needed.
For something more physical, you could draw the symbol on a piece of paper and then hold the symbol physically on your chakra, imaging the symbol coming out of the paper repeatedly and into the chakra.
As we understand it, there are countless ways to work with symbols so as always, please trust your intuition and do what feels right for you at the time (or what the symbol intuitively guides you to do).
So in summary, how you wish to receive the new symbol's energies into your chakra is a personal and flexible decision that each practitioner can make in line with own feelings / intuition. Most importantly, it is always best to open up to receiving the new energies that the symbol is offering to us for the full duration of time that is specified in the ebook and where possible, it is best to always try to receive these with a feeling of love & divine gratitude. By following these simple instructions, you will be successfully receiving these new energies into your consciousness which then means that you will be allowing these new energies to go about their magical healing work. Wonderful!
