Making Deliciously Raw Dips
Making dips is such a simple and easy process and allows us to mix in lots of yummy and healthy ingredients which we can then eat raw, with a variety of added extras like broccoli, carrot or celery sticks, cucumber, olives etc. We hope you enjoy these yummy recipes and being creative with your own dip making!

Ingredients:
100g sundried tomatoes (drained) 1/2 red capsicum 100g unsalted cashews 1/2 tsp asafoetida (to your taste) generous splash of olive oil 2 tsp apple cider vinegar Directions: Place all ingredients into blender and chop until you see a rough and even consistency throughout. Serve on a natural plate & enjoy. You can keep this refrigerated for around week or so. |
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados (without skin and seed) 1.5 tbsn lemon juice (to taste) 1/2 cup raw cashews (soaked overnight) 1 Tbsn raw parsley 1/2 - 3/4 cup water 1 tsp agave nectar (or other sweetener) 1/2 - 1 tsp salt (to your taste) optional: small clove of garlic (for garlic mayo) optional: chilli powder (for spicy mayo) Directions: After soaking the cashews overnight, add all ingredients into high powered blender and blend until smooth. Add some pomegranate for garnish if you wish - enjoy! |
Ingredients:
1 cup walnuts 1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs 200g roasted red peppers (can also use piquillo peppers instead) 1 tsp asafoetida (to your taste) 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp cumin 1 tbsp tomato paste 1 tbsp vinegar (red wine, apple cider) 1 tsp agave syrup 1 tsp lemon juice 1/8 cup olive oil salt and pepper to taste Directions: Roast the red peppers & nuts for extra flavour and make your own breadcrumbs in the blender or food processor. To make the dip, we now blend everything together except for the nuts and the breadcrumbs. After a minute or so of blending, now add the nuts and breadcrumbs and blend again. Serve and enjoy! |
Ingredients: 1.5 cups of pumpkin seeds (soaked for a minimum of 2 hours) 1 tsp tumeric powder 1 tsp asafoetida (to your taste) 4 sundried tomatoes (either in oil or soaked) 1/2 cup water Directions: After soaking your pumpkin seeds and/or sundered tomatoes, place all ingredients into your blender and blend until desired consistency. |
Ingredients: 6 roma tomatoes (quartered) 1/2 red capsicum (quartered) 1 jalapeño pepper (seeds removed) 1/4 fresh cilantro 1 tsp asafoetida (to your taste) 1 tsp fresh lime juice 1 tsp salt (to your taste) Directions: Place all ingredients into a high powered blender and pulse until the desired consistency is reached. You want this to be nice and chunky. |
