The Maitri Dharma Practices
We hope you enjoy these beautiful and divinely enriching Maitri Practices. These practices (shown below) can be completed by anyone, regardless of background, qualification, race, gender, religious belief, financial situation etc. These practices can help to connect you with the energies of the 'Paramatma Gurus' and can therefore help to bring a great many blessings into your life. We hope you enjoy these truly divine Maitri Dharma practices for the benefit of all beings!
The Guru Practice
The Guru Practice (as we like to refer to it) was released by Guru Mahasambodhi Dharmasangha in March 2017 as part of the 'Maitri Book'. The detailed instructions for completing this practice are included in this very special book and we therefore recommend that you download The Maitri Book and start working with this practice as you feel guided to.
The 'Guru Practice' is very simple and easy to learn and it is also very flexible. It can be completed in as little as 5 - 10 minutes (if you wish) or for more serious practitioners, this practice can also be done for up to one hour (or for any amount of time you wish). The Guru practice is a very beneficial practice and can help us to receive a great many blessings from Mahasambodhi Dharmasangha Guru and all of the Paramatma Guru's. We hope that you will enjoy this practice and may it help to bring a great many blessings into your life for your continuing journey forwards. |
Mantra Recitation
In March 2017, Mahasambodhi Dharmasangha Guru released a number of 'mantras' which are expressed in the language of Maitri. By connecting with these mantras regularly, either through formal meditation or as we go about our daily life, we are able to receive a great many blessings for our journey forwards into more love, light and unity.
The formal technique for this mantra recitation work is described in The Maitri Book so for those wishing to learn more about this technique, we invite you to download this very special book and learn more about how to do these practices. Alternatively, you can simply recite these mantras throughout the day, as you feel guided to. There are also some beautiful mantra songs that have been created for these Maitri Dharma mantras and these are available on our free music & relaxation page. If you wish to, you can listen to these whenever you are feeling a need for peace, love or harmony in your life. These mantra songs are also a very powerful healing technique on their own! |
Chanting Prayers
Chanting Maitri Prayers has always been an important part of the Maitri Dharma and offers us the chance to connect with the energies of the Paramatma Gurus. In this way, chanting prayers can help us to purify, heal and expand on our journey forwards which can then help to bring more peace, love & unity into our life.
Currently, the prayers are in the process of being updated and as such, we will be updating our website as soon as these new prayers become available to the general public. For now, we would humbly suggest here that those wishing to practice the Maitri Dharma simply work with the other practices described here whilst focusing on connecting with this new feeling of Maitri in your heart, as best you can. |
The Maitri Precepts
This final Maitri Practice is a little different from the previous practices in that we are trying our best to live in alignment with The 11 Maitri Precepts. By doing this practice, we are able to transform daily thoughts, intentions and actions into those that are based in loving kindness, peace, non-discrimination, humility and unity.
As part of this ongoing practice, we lovingly suggest here that you please be loving, gentle and kind with yourself as you continue to progress. For it is typically through a 'step by step' type approach that can help us to move more easily, lovingly and gracefully into the inner depths of the Maitri Dharma. |
